Brahma Tech Academy

Program Overview

Brahma Tech Academy students cultivate their STEM identity, develop expertise, and are empowered to showcase their STEM leadership. Students distinguish themselves from their peers through their concentrated engagement in STEM courses and extracurriculars, culminating in a 150-hour internship in their chosen field of interest. Brahma Tech graduates are qualified for entry into 4-year universities and possess technical and professional skills in demand by industry leaders.  

 

The Brahma Tech curriculum, spanning four years of high school. 9th grade consists of an entry-level course in 1) Innovations in Technology, 2) Intro to Engineering Design (PLTW), or 3) AP Computer Science Principles. In grades 10-12, students take courses in 7 different strands. The program concludes with a 150-hour internship in an appropriate field. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Brahma Tech STEM certificate and have the honor of wearing the academy stole at graduation.
